Eligibility Criteria
Project Research Scientist – I (Medical)
- Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) + MDS (Public Health Dentistry) OR MDS with public health research experience OR MPH.
- Must be registered with Dental Council of India (DCI).
- Desirable: Experience in dental public health projects, biostatistical application, good publication record, strong writing & verbal skills, fluency in English, willingness to travel.
Project Research Scientist – I (Non Medical)
- First-class Post Graduate Degree in Physiology, Public Health, or Psychology.
- Desirable: Experience in qualitative research, software applications, at least one qualitative research publication, willingness to travel, proficiency in regional language(s).
Project Technical Support – III (PTS III)
- Minimum three-year graduate degree in social science or life science + three years’ experience OR postgraduate degree in social science or life science.
- Desirable: Research experience and familiarity with statistical software for data analysis, willing for extensive travel.
Salary/Stipend
- Project Research Scientist – I (Medical): ₹67,000 + 20% HRA
- Project Research Scientist – I (Non Medical): ₹56,000 + 20% HRA
- Project Technical Support – III: ₹28,000 + 20% HRA

General Information / Instructions
- Vacancies are as per ICMR-NCTB Quasi Experimental Trial Project guidelines.
- Performance-based termination: Appointment can be terminated at any time if performance is unsatisfactory.
- Project engagement: Initially for 11 months or less depending on project tenure.
- Continuation / extension depends on performance evaluation, availability of funds, and approval from authority.
- Rates of stipend may vary as per funding agency sanction.
- Separate application should be submitted for each post.
- No TA/DA will be paid for attending interview; candidates must arrange transport/accommodation themselves.
- Posting: Initially at study site; may be transferred to other sites as per research requirements.
- No claim for regular AIIMS/ICMR post or appointment due to project engagement.
- Project HR positions can be terminated without reason.
- Competent authority decision is final.
- Selected candidate must join within 7 days of results declaration.
