NABARD Young Professional Recruitment 2026 – Notification Overview
The National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) has issued an official notification for the recruitment of 44 Young Professionals in various disciplines, including Climate Action, Economics, Data Science, Cyber Security, Finance, IT, and more. This program is aimed at providing young professionals an opportunity to contribute to rural development and financial inclusion in India.
Candidates with Bachelor's or Master's degrees in the relevant disciplines are eligible to apply. NABARD offers an attractive stipend along with exposure to critical rural finance and development projects.

Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
Candidates must possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in the relevant discipline as on 01 November 2025. Each discipline has specific minimum marks requirements ranging from 55% to 60% depending on the field. Degrees must be from recognized universities/institutions in India.
Experience
- Minimum 1-year relevant work experience in the respective discipline.
- Experience in reputed organizations is preferred.
- Specific experience requirements vary per discipline, such as IT projects, climate action, or finance-related tasks.
Age Limit
- Minimum Age: 21 years
- Maximum Age: 30 years
- Candidate must be an Indian citizen
Salary / Stipend
Selected candidates will receive a monthly stipend of ₹70,000/- (All Inclusive). Income tax or other applicable taxes will be deducted at source. The stipend is provided throughout the engagement period, including training.

- All Candidates: ₹150/- (exclusive of GST)
- Non-refundable and payable online through debit/credit card, internet banking, or UPI.
Selection Process
- Step 1: Application Screening by NABARD Selection Committee
- Step 2: Interview conducted by Young Professional Selection Committee (YPSC)
- Medical Fitness and Document Verification
- Final Selection based on combined scores in presentation and interview

- Register as a new user with valid email and mobile number
- Fill in application form and upload scanned documents (photo, signature, CV, thumb impression, declaration)
- Pay application fee online
- Submit the application and take a printout for future reference
Important Instructions
- Apply only for one discipline/location
- Name should match certificates exactly
- All submitted information must be correct and authentic
- Bank reserves the right to modify, cancel, or increase vacancies
- Applications will be rejected if requirements are not met or documents are incomplete
- Applicants must maintain a valid personal email ID and contact number until recruitment completes
Program Duration & Legal Status
The engagement period is 1 year initially, extendable up to 3 years based on performance. Young Professionals are appointed on a contractual basis and do not gain staff status. NABARD provides office space, internet, and mentorship during the program.
Leave, Medical & Office Facilities
- Maximum 30 days leave in a calendar year on proportionate basis
- Medical facilities available for self at NABARD dispensaries
- Office facilities include lounge, tea/coffee, and workstation
Mentorship & Evaluation
Each Young Professional will be assigned a mentor responsible for guiding and monitoring progress. At the end of the program, candidates receive a letter of experience/recommendation.
