All India Institute of Medical Sciences has released the official AIIMS NORCET 10 Recruitment 2026 notification for 2551 Nursing Officer posts across participating AIIMS institutes. The recruitment is being conducted under Advertisement No. 17/2026. AIIMS NORCET 10 Eligibility Criteria 2026
Essential Qualification – Option I
- B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing / B.Sc. Nursing from Indian Nursing Council or State Nursing Council recognized Institute/University.
- OR B.Sc. (Post-Certificate) / Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing from recognized Institute/University.
- Registered as Nurse & Midwife with State Nursing Council / Indian Nursing Council.
Essential Qualification – Option II (For Diploma Holders)
- Diploma in General Nursing & Midwifery from Indian Nursing Council / State Nursing Council recognized Institute/Board.
- Registered as Nurse & Midwife in State / Indian Nursing Council.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a 50-bedded hospital after acquiring educational qualification and registration.
The two years of experience for Diploma holders must be completed after declaration of result, completion of residency period and registration with Nursing Council.

Pay Level: Level-07 in Pay Matrix
Pre-revised Pay Band: ₹9300-34800 with Grade Pay ₹4600/-
In addition to basic pay, selected candidates will be eligible for Dearness Allowance, House Rent Allowance, Transport Allowance and other benefits as applicable to Central Government employees.

Final selection will be based on merit in Stage II examination, preference of AIIMS institutes, document verification and eligibility conditions. PwBD candidates will undergo Medical Board evaluation.
