Eligibility Criteria
Eligibility varies as per post and department. Qualifications must strictly follow UGC/AICTE/PCI/COA/NCTE/BCI norms and University Statutes.
- Professor: Ph.D in relevant discipline with required years of teaching/research experience and published research work as per regulatory body norms.
- Associate Professor: Master’s degree with minimum 55% marks and Ph.D with prescribed teaching/research experience as per UGC/AICTE norms.
- Assistant Professor: Master’s degree with 55% marks and NET/SET/SLET qualification where applicable. Ph.D holders as per UGC 2009/2018 regulations may get NET exemption as per rules.
- For Engineering and Technical departments: AICTE norms applicable.
- For Pharmacy: PCI norms applicable.
- For Law: Bar Council of India norms applicable.
- For Architecture: Council of Architecture (COA) norms applicable.
- For Education: NCTE norms applicable.
Salary Structure
Pay scale and Academic Level will be as per 7th Pay Commission and applicable UGC/AICTE norms:
- Professor: Academic Level 14 (₹1,44,200 – ₹2,18,200 approx.)
- Associate Professor: Academic Level 13A (₹1,31,400 – ₹2,17,100 approx.)
- Assistant Professor: Academic Level 10 (₹57,700 – ₹1,82,400 approx.)
Exact salary will be decided as per University rules and applicable allowances.
