Eligibility Criteria
- Nationality: Indian citizen.
- Educational Qualification:
- Telecom Mechanic & Armament Mechanic: 10+2 (Science) with ITI in respective trade OR Ex-Servicemen with trade experience.
- Multitasking Staff (MTS): Matric/10th pass or equivalent from recognized board.
- Age Limit: 18–25 years. Age relaxation applicable for ESM and departmental candidates as per rules.
- Reservation: Candidates selected purely on merit. Unreserved, SC, ST, OBC, EWS categories are considered as per guidelines.
- Experience/Desirable Qualification: Certificate from National Council for Training in Vocational Trades (NCTVT) or equivalent recognized vocational experience preferred.

Age Limit & Relaxation
- Minimum Age: 18 years
- Maximum Age: 25 years
- ESM candidates: Age relaxation up to 3 years beyond prescribed age after adjusting for service rendered.
- Departmental candidates with 3 years continuous Central Govt. service: Age relaxation up to 40 years (45 years for SC/ST).
- No relaxation for SC/ST/OBC candidates applying for unreserved posts.
- Date of birth as per matriculation certificate will be considered final.
Application Process
Candidates are required to submit applications carefully as per guidelines:
- Application must be typed on A4 size paper using the prescribed format.
- Include self-addressed envelope (10.5 cm x 25 cm) with Rs. 5 postal stamp for communication.
- Applications to be sent via Ordinary Post to the address of the unit applied for.
- Clearly mention "APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF [Post Name]" on the envelope.
- Include valid Email ID and linked Aadhaar-based contact number in the application.
- Only one application per candidate per trade is allowed; no modifications permitted after submission.
- For candidates in Govt./PSU service, NOC from the current employer must be attached.
- Applications received after the closing date will be rejected.
Selection Procedure
The recruitment will follow a **merit-based selection process**:
- Shortlisting based on **Essential Qualification**.
- Written Test (OMR-based, Objective type) – 150 marks with negative marking of 0.25 per wrong answer.
- Written Test Duration – 2 hours; bilingual (English & Hindi).
- Subjects for Technical Posts: General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Awareness, General English, Numerical Aptitude, Trade Specific Questions.
- Subjects for MTS: General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Awareness, General English, Numerical Aptitude.
- Skill Test (where applicable) – qualifying in nature. Only candidates clearing written test will appear.
- Document Verification & Bio-metric verification at the reporting unit.
- Final Selection – Merit based on written test, skill test, and verification of certificates.
- No TA/DA for attending any stage of selection. Lodging and boarding arrangements to be made by candidates.
