DRDO Recruitment 2026 notification has been officially issued by the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), Ministry of Defence, Government of India for 188 vacancies under Deputation / Absorption basis. DRDO Recruitment 2026 Eligibility Criteria
Maximum Age Limit: The maximum age for appointment by deputation shall not exceed 56 years as on the closing date of receipt of application.
Joint Director (Administration) – Level 13
- Holding analogous post OR 5 years service in Level 12.
- Degree from recognized university.
- 12 years experience in administration, establishment or accounts matters.
Joint Director (Accounts) – Level 13
- Holding analogous post OR 5 years service in Level 12.
- Bachelor Degree.
- 10 years experience in Accounts, Finance and Budgeting.
Additional Chief Construction Engineer – Level 13
- Bachelor Degree in Civil / Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or Architecture.
- 10 years experience in planning/execution of civil works or estate management.
- Experience in major time-bound projects preferred.
Senior Accounts Officer Grade-II – Level 10
- Analogous post OR 2 years in Level 9 OR 4 years in Level 8.
- Bachelor Degree.
- 3 years experience in Accounts / Finance / Budgeting.
Administrative Officer – Level 07
- Analogous post OR 5 years in Level 6.
- Bachelor Degree.
- 2 years experience in Accounts / Administration / Establishment.
Stores Officer – Level 07
- Analogous post OR 5 years in Level 6.

DRDO Recruitment 2026 Selection Process
Selection under DRDO Recruitment 2026 will be based on scrutiny of applications received through proper channel. Eligible officers fulfilling all service, experience and qualification requirements will be considered for deputation / absorption as per Government of India rules.
DRDO Deputation Tenure & Conditions
- Normal deputation period shall not exceed 3 years.
- Departmental officers in feeder category are not eligible.
- Vigilance clearance and integrity certificate mandatory.
- APARs for last 5 years (2019-20 to 2023-24) must be enclosed.
- Incomplete or advance copies will not be considered.
