Vacancy Details
The B&CS Division at TRAI HQ, New Delhi has 02 vacancies for Senior Associate Consultant Grade-I (Technical). These posts are tentative and may vary as per the requirement of TRAI. Candidates must have a relevant bachelor's degree and professional experience in the regulatory, broadcasting, or telecom domain.
Eligibility Criteria
- Essential Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Technology/Engineering or equivalent in Electronics, Communications, Electrical, Telecommunications, Computer Science, IT, or Data Science from a recognized university/institution of repute.
- Desirable Qualification: Master’s degree in any of the above disciplines.
- Essential Experience: Minimum 4 years of relevant work experience in Broadcasting / Media / Telecom Regulatory domain with exposure to broadcasting sector. Experience in drafting policy formulation, consultation papers, recommendations, regulatory directions, or orders, preferably for Government, Regulatory Bodies, or Industry Associations.
- Desirable Experience: Sound knowledge of Regulatory matters, Tariff & Interconnection, Quality of Service, Licensing, and policy matters relating to Broadcasting and Cable sector.
Salary & Contract
- Monthly Remuneration: ₹1,20,000/- (Fixed)
- Transport Allowance: ₹8,000/- per month
- Contract Period: Initially one year from the date of joining, extendable on mutual consent
- Other Benefits: As per TRAI rules for contractual employees

Selection Process
