Educational Qualification & Eligibility
Applicants must possess a Master’s Degree in Engineering or allied disciplines. The qualification should be obtained from a recognized university or institute. Candidates pursuing Ph.D. or currently employed must submit a valid No Objection Certificate.

Salary / Emoluments
Selected candidates will receive a consolidated remuneration as follows:
- Monthly Salary: ₹25,000/-
- House Rent Allowance (HRA): As admissible
The engagement is valid up to 18 October 2026 or until further orders. Extension may be considered based on project performance and funding availability.
Project Details
The recruitment is for a sponsored research project titled:
“Experimental characteristics and thermo-mechanical analysis of underwater friction stir welded Al alloys for submerged marine applications”
The project focuses on advanced welding techniques and material behavior under underwater conditions, with relevance to marine and structural engineering applications.
The position will be supervised by Dr. Prabin Haloi, Assistant Professor, Department of Mechanical Engineering, Tezpur University, Assam.
