Duty Hours & Responsibilities

- Regular Duty Hours: Monday to Saturday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM
- Availability: 24x7 on-call basis, including holidays and weekly off days
- Handling counselling sessions for students
- Participation in administrative and day-to-day student affairs activities
- Providing support during emergencies and crisis situations
- Any additional duties assigned by the Institute from time to time
Salary / Remuneration
The selected Counsellor will be paid a fixed consolidated remuneration as per IIT Patna norms.

- No additional allowances such as DA, HRA, or TA

General Terms & Conditions
- The engagement is purely contractual for 10 months
- No claim for regular appointment or absorption will be entertained
- 08 days of Casual Leave allowed in a calendar year
- Unused leave will not be carried forward or encashed
- Institute reserves the right to terminate services without notice
- No TA/DA will be paid for joining
- Counsellor must follow all rules and regulations of IIT Patna
- Any dispute will fall under the jurisdiction of IIT Patna
