Eligibility Criteria Explained
Professor
- Ph.D. in concerned/allied discipline
- Minimum 10 research publications
- Research score of 120 as per UGC norms
- At least 10 years teaching/research experience
Associate Professor
- Ph.D. in relevant discipline
- Master’s degree with minimum 55% marks
- Minimum 8 years teaching/research experience
- At least 7 research publications
- Research score of 75 as per UGC criteria
Assistant Professor
- Master’s degree with minimum 55% marks
- NET/SLET/SET qualified OR Ph.D. as per UGC regulations
- Foreign Ph.D. holders from top 500 ranked universities are exempted from NET
Age Limit
- Assistant Professor: Maximum 40 years as on 01 January 2026
- SC/ST: 5 years relaxation
- OBC (NCL): 3 years relaxation
- PWD: 10 years relaxation
