Nationality
- Candidate must be an Indian citizen
Educational Qualification for Clerk
- Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science or equivalent degree from a recognised university
- Must have passed Matriculation with Hindi as one of the subjects
Educational Qualification for Stenographer Grade-III
- Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science or equivalent degree from a recognised university
- English Shorthand speed of 80 words per minute
- Transcription speed of 20 words per minute
- Proficiency in computers including word processing and spreadsheets
Age Limit and Relaxation
Age is calculated as on 01 January 2026.
- Minimum Age: 18 Years
- Maximum Age: 42 Years
Age relaxation for reserved categories will be applicable as per instructions issued by the Hon’ble High Court of Punjab and Haryana and Haryana Government from time to time.
Salary Structure
Selected candidates will be paid a consolidated remuneration of Rs. 25,500/- per month. This salary is payable for a period of six months or until regular appointments are made by the Hon’ble High Court of Punjab and Haryana, whichever is earlier.

For Clerk
- Written Examination
- English Composition – 50 Marks (33% qualifying)
- General Knowledge – 50 Marks (33% qualifying)
- Minimum 40% aggregate marks required
- Computer Typing Test at 30 words per minute
- Computer proficiency in Word and Spreadsheet mandatory
For Stenographer Grade-III
- English Shorthand Test – 80 wpm
- Transcription Test – 20 wpm
