Lal Bahadur Shastri Hospital has invited eligible medical professionals to attend a walk-in interview for engagement of Senior Residents in different departments. The appointment will be made on a temporary ad-hoc basis for a period of 44 days.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must fulfill the following eligibility conditions to appear for the walk-in interview:

  • Essential Qualification: MBBS with Post Graduate Degree / DNB / Diploma or Post-Doctoral Degree in the concerned specialty from a recognized University or Institute.
  • If PG qualified candidates are not available, MBBS degree holders with minimum two years of experience in the same specialty may be considered.
  • Candidate must be registered with Delhi Medical Council (DMC).
  • Candidates who have already completed three years of Senior Residency in any State or Central Government Hospital are not eligible.
  • If fresh candidates are not available, candidates who have completed three years of Senior Residency and are willing to serve further may be considered for a maximum period of one year.

Age Limit

  • Maximum Age: 45 years for General, EWS and OBC candidates
  • SC/ST candidates: 5 years age relaxation
  • OBC certificate must be issued by Government of NCT of Delhi

The selection of Senior Residents will be conducted through:

  • Walk-in Interview

  • Separate merit lists will be prepared for fresh candidates and candidates who have completed three years of Senior Residency.
  • No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
