Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualification: Minimum two-year Certificate in Civil Draftsman from any ITI recognized by Government of India.
- Computer Knowledge: Basic computer skills as per Gujarat Civil Services rules.
- Language: Adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or both.
- Citizenship: Indian citizen as per Gujarat Civil Service rules.
Salary / Pay Scale
- First five years: Fixed Rs. 26,000/- per month
- After five years: Regular Pay Level-2 (Rs. 19,900/- to Rs. 63,200/-) as per 7th Pay Commission
- All other benefits as per government norms

Selection Process
Selection will be based on a one-stage competitive examination through MCQ (Computer Based Response Test / OMR). The exam has two parts: Part-A (90 Marks) on Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, Constitution, Current Affairs, Gujarati & English Comprehension; Part-B (120 Marks) on technical qualification. Total 210 questions for 210 marks, 3 hours duration, 1/4 negative marking. Minimum qualifying 40% in each part. Merit list prepared on exam marks. Certificate verification for 2x vacancies. Final selection merit-wise and office preference.
