Eligibility Criteria for RGSSH Senior Resident Recruitment 2026
Educational Qualification
Candidates must possess a medical qualification included in Schedule I or II or Part II of the Third Schedule of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Additionally, applicants should have:
- MBBS degree from a recognised institute by the Indian Medical Council, and
- Post Graduate Degree or Diploma such as MD / MS / DM / M.Ch / DNB / PG Diploma in the relevant speciality.
Experience Requirement
The candidate must not have completed 03 years of Senior Residency in any recognised Central or State Government hospital, autonomous institute, including both regular and ad-hoc periods.
RGSSH Senior Resident Age Limit 2026
The upper age limit for RGSSH Senior Resident posts is 37 years as on the date of interview.
Age Relaxation
- SC / ST / OBC / PwD / Ex-Servicemen candidates will get age relaxation as per Government of India and Government of NCT of Delhi rules.
- In case of non-availability of eligible candidates, age relaxation up to 45 years may be allowed as per government circulars.
