Eligibility Criteria

• Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering is mandatory.
• Specialization required in Machine Design, Manufacturing, or Thermal Engineering.
• Experience of teaching is desirable but not mandatory.

Salary / Honorarium

• Ph.D.: Rs.1,500/- per class (Maximum Rs.60,000 per month). Lab/tutorial classes of 02 contact hours treated as 01 contact hour.
• Non-Ph.D.: Rs.1,000/- per class (Maximum Rs.40,000 per month). Lab/tutorial classes of 02 contact hours treated as 01 contact hour.

Important Instructions

• Walk-in-interview is for the temporary academic session Jan-June 2026 only.
• Bring bio-data/CV stating qualifications, specialization, and experience.
• Carry original supporting documents.
• No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview.
• Candidates already engaged in full-time jobs elsewhere will not be considered.
• Decision of NIT Arunachal Pradesh competent authority is final.
