Eligibility Criteria Explained

Assistant Professor – Biotechnology

Candidates must possess a Ph.D. in Biotechnology / Bioscience & Bioengineering / Life Sciences / Biomedical Sciences with first class or equivalent grade at the preceding degree level such as M.Pharm, MS, M.Tech, or M.Sc. A consistently strong academic record is mandatory along with a minimum of 5 years of teaching, research, or industrial experience supported by quality publications.

Desirable expertise includes biologicals, biosimilars, vaccines, bioprocess engineering, gene therapy, and cell-based therapy. Experience in biopharma industry research, project guidance, sponsored research, and SCI journal publications will be an added advantage.

Assistant Professor – Medical Devices

Applicants must hold a Ph.D. with first class or equivalent grade in Bioengineering, Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics, or relevant disciplines at the preceding degree level. A minimum of 5 years of teaching, research, or industrial experience is required, excluding the Ph.D. period.

Desirable qualifications include experience in biomedical imaging, AI in healthcare, biomedical signal processing, medical device development (Class 2 and Class 3), patents, sponsored research projects, and SCI publications.

Medical Officer

Candidates must possess an M.B.B.S. degree recognized under the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 and must be registered with the State Medical Register or Indian Medical Register. Preference will be given to candidates holding a postgraduate qualification such as MD in General Medicine.
