Eligibility Criteria
- Essential Qualification: Graduation in Law (LLB) through regular mode from a recognized Indian University.
- Essential Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience handling legal cases related to Service Matters of Government of India.
- Desirable Experience: Experience handling cases in CAT, High Court, Supreme Court; knowledge of public procurement, arbitration, and government service rules.
- Computer Knowledge: Essential for legal documentation, drafting, and research.
- Age Limit: Less than 63 years as on 01/01/2026.
- Retired Employees: Retired Central Government employees in the rank of Under Secretary with LLB and legal experience can also apply.
Salary / Stipend
- Rs. 50,000 per month (fixed)
- No additional allowances including TA/DA
Leave and Tenure
- Temporary position for 11 months, extendable based on performance.
- 8 days paid Casual Leave and 30 days unpaid Earned Leave per year.
- Leave cannot be carried forward, salary reduced proportionally for EL.
