Eligibility Criteria
- Master’s degree in Agriculture/Horticulture with specialization in Vegetable Science, Plant Breeding & Genetics, Plant Physiology, Plant Biotechnology, Botany, Life Sciences, or related subjects from a recognized university.
- OR Master’s degree with 3-year Bachelor’s plus valid UGC/CSIR/ICAR NET/equivalent or Ph.D.
- Two years research experience in recognized Research or Academic Institutions; project/trainee experience not counted.
- Desirable: Experience in plant tissue culture.
- Nationality: Only Indian nationals are eligible.
Salary / Remuneration
- Rs. 35,000/- per month
- House Rent Allowance (HRA) @ 24% per month as per ICAR guidelines
- Appointment is temporary, co-terminus with the project, with yearly extension based on performance and fund availability
