ECHS Gaya Recruitment 2026 – Overview
ECHS Gaya has released an official notification for recruitment of 68 posts across multiple categories. The posts include Officer-In-Charge, Medical Officer, Dental Officer, Pharmacist, Laboratory Technician, Nurse/Nursing Assistant, Dental Assistant/Hygienist Technician, Clerk, Driver, Chowkidar, Safaiwala, Female Attendant & Peon. Selected candidates will be engaged on a contractual basis for the FY 2026-27 with remuneration ranging from ₹21,800/- to ₹95,000/- per month depending on post.

Eligibility Criteria
- Officer-In-Charge: Retired Service Officer from Indian Army, Navy or Air Force with pension through Defence Estimates.
- Medical Officer: MBBS degree.
- Dental Officer: BDS degree (PG qualification desirable).
- Pharmacist: B.Pharma and Diploma in Pharmacy.
- Laboratory Technician/Assistant: B.Sc (MLT) or Diploma (DMLT) or Class-I Lab Tech Course (Armed Forces).
- Nurse/Nursing Assistant: GNM Diploma or Class-I Nursing Course (Armed Forces).
- Dental Assistant/Hygienist Technician: Diploma/Class-I DH/DORA Course (Armed Forces).
- Clerk: Graduate/Class I Clerical Trade (Armed Forces); proficiency in office work desirable.
- Driver: Class 8th or Class I MT Driver (Armed Forces) with LMV license; office assistance skills desirable.
- Chowkidar, Safaiwala, Female Attendant: Literate, Class 8th pass or GD Trade (Armed Forces).
Salary / Remuneration
- Officer-In-Charge: ₹95,000/- per month
- Medical Officer: ₹36,500/- per month
- Dental Officer: ₹36,500/- per month
- Pharmacist: ₹36,500/- per month
- Laboratory Technician: ₹29,200/- per month
- Nurse/Nursing Assistant: ₹25,600/- per month
- Dental Assistant/Hygienist Technician: ₹25,600/- per month
- Clerk, Driver, Chowkidar, Safaiwala, Female Attendant: ₹21,800/- per month
- All positions contractual with fixed monthly remuneration
Important Dates

Selection Process
- Shortlisted candidates intimated via email.
- Candidates report at Station HQ, Gaya for interview at 10:00 AM.
- Selection based on interview performance.
- Bring original certificates, marks sheets, degree certificates, discharge book, PPO, Service Records & 2 passport size photos.
- No TA/DA for attending the interview.
General Instructions
- Engagement purely on contractual basis for 1 year, renewable for another year based on performance.
- Preference to Ex-Servicemen and widows of service personnel.
- Appointments may increase/decrease as per requirement.
