Eligibility Criteria
- Nationality: Candidate must be an Indian citizen.
- Educational Qualification: Degree in Engineering, Technology, or Medicine from a recognized university. MBBS degree considered under Medicine.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of practical experience in the relevant field. University training up to 1 year is considered.
- Age Limit: Varies by category:
- Unreserved Male – 37 years
- BC/EBC & Unreserved Female – 40 years
- SC/ST – 42 years
- Ex-servicemen & government employees – relaxation as per rules
- Language: Ability to read and write Hindi in Devanagari script.

Salary / Pay Scale
Selected candidates will be appointed as Factory Inspectors in Bihar Public Service Commission under Pay Level 9. The pay details and benefits include:

Selection Process
BPSC selection is based on educational qualifications and an interview. If candidates exceed the number of vacancies, shortlisting is done based on average percentages from Matric to minimum qualification. Key points:

- Interview: 100 marks allocated for interview, 100 marks for educational qualifications (Matric 10, Intermediate 20, Graduation 60, PG 10).
