Eligibility Criteria Explained

Educational Qualification & Licenses

  • 10+2 with Physics & Mathematics from recognized board/university
  • Current CPL issued by DGCA, India
  • Minimum 500 multi-engine flying hours and 1000 total flying hours
  • Current FRTOL issued by DGCA
  • IR Endorsement issued by DGCA
  • Current RTR (A/P/C) issued by WPC, Ministry of Communication
  • Class-1 medical fitness certificate
  • Valid English Language Proficiency (ELP)
  • Indian passport or proof of submission of passport application

Age Limit

  • Maximum 60 years as per DGCA rules (age as on 01/02/2026)
  • Re-engagement up to 65 years permitted subject to license currency

Other Conditions

  • All documents submitted must be valid and self-certified
  • Government/Semi Govt/PSU candidates must submit NOC
  • Any falsification of details will lead to disqualification

Salary, Stipend & Benefits

  • Negotiable monthly package starting from Rs. 2.50 lakhs
  • Flying allowance for 50 hours per month, overtime paid as per guidelines
  • Annual increment of 5% subject to AAI policy
  • Stipend during training: Rs. 50,000 per month
  • Aviation insurance covered by AAI (PA/LOL – Rs. 50 lakhs)
  • Leaves: 12 casual days + 18 sick days per calendar year
  • Accommodation & transport at outstation sites as per entitlement
