Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualification: B.Tech / B.E in Civil Engineering from a recognized University / Institute with at least 60% marks.
- Experience: Minimum 10 years in Construction / Maintenance of Track in Indian Railways / Metro projects.
- Familiarity with computerized systems and technical applications related to metro track management.
- Candidates should be free from any D&AR or Vigilance issues.
- For IRSE / HAG Officers: Must have served at Gazetted / Executive level for at least 25 years, with minimum 2 years in the relevant grade.
Salary and Benefits
The Chief Engineer will receive a salary as per IDA Pay Scale Rs. 1,50,000 – 3,00,000 along with benefits including HRA/lease, medical benefits, EPF, Gratuity, and insurance, in line with DMRC rules.

Selection Process
- Screening through Personal Interview and Medical Fitness Examination.
- Evaluation of knowledge, technical skills, comprehension, aptitude, and physical fitness.
- Candidates must pass medical fitness and screening to be considered eligible.
- DMRC’s decision regarding selection and medical fitness is final.
General Instructions
- Selected candidates must execute a Surety Bond of Rs. 4,00,000/- to serve DMRC for a minimum of three years or until superannuation.
- Three months’ notice is required for resignation.
- Probation period is one year, including training.
- Incomplete or late applications will be rejected.
- Applications from Govt. / PSU employees must be routed through proper channel with Vigilance & D&AR clearance and last five years’ APARs.
- No TA/DA is admissible for attending interviews.
