Eligibility Criteria Explained

  • Nationality: Candidate must be a citizen of India.
  • Educational Qualification – Non-ITI: Candidates must have passed Class 10 (Matriculation) with minimum 50% marks overall and at least 40% marks separately in Mathematics and Science from a recognised board.
  • Educational Qualification – Ex-ITI: Candidates must have passed Class 10 with minimum 50% marks and must possess an ITI certificate in the relevant trade from an NCVT or SCVT recognised institute with minimum 50% marks.
  • Age Limit (As on 03 March 2026):
    • Minimum Age: 14 years (18 years for hazardous trades)
    • Maximum Age: 35 years
  • Age Relaxation: Relaxation in upper age limit is applicable for SC, ST, OBC, PwD and other reserved categories as per Government of India rules and the Apprentices Act, 1961.
  • Medical Fitness: Selected candidates must be medically fit as per prescribed standards at the time of joining.
