Eligibility Criteria Explained

Research Associate-III
- Ph.D. in Biotechnology or Biochemistry from a recognized university
- Minimum 2 years post-qualification research experience in bacterial and mammalian cell culture
- At least one first-author publication in a PubMed-indexed journal
- Desirable: Experience with biophysical/functional assays, recombinant protein expression, translational research projects, molecular biology and microbiology techniques
Project Associate-II
- M.Tech./M.Pharm or Master’s degree in Life Sciences from a recognized university
- Minimum 2 years post-qualification research experience
- Knowledge in genomics, proteomics, metabolomics, and hands-on experience with microbial culture and related experimental techniques
Salary/Stipend
- Research Associate-III: ₹54,000 + HRA per month
- Project Associate-II (Category i): ₹35,000 + HRA per month (for CSIR-UGC NET/GATE/National exams qualified)
- Project Associate-II (Category ii): ₹28,000 + HRA per month (others)
Age Limit & Relaxation
- Research Associate-III: 40 years; Project Associate-II: 35 years
- Relaxation: SC/ST – 5 years, OBC – 3 years; PwBD – 10/13/15 years (UR/OBC/SC/ST); Central Govt servants – 5 years; Ex-servicemen – defence service + 3 years
