Spices Board Trainee (SET) Recruitment 2026 – Overview
Spices Board has released notification for recruitment of 08 Trainee posts exclusively for SC/ST candidates. Selected candidates will undergo training in various regional offices of the Board with stipend of ₹20,000/- per month and TA for travel to spice fields. The training period is one year, extendable by another year based on performance.

Eligibility Criteria
- Exclusively for Scheduled Caste (SC) / Scheduled Tribe (ST) candidates.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Botany, Microbiology, or Biotechnology from a recognized University/Institute.
- Working knowledge of computer is mandatory.
- Age not exceeding 35 years as on 03-02-2026.
Salary / Stipend
- Stipend: ₹20,000/- per month.
- Travel Allowance (TA) will be paid for travel to spice fields as per Board norms.
- Training period: 1 year from joining, extendable to another year based on performance.
Selection Process
- Walk-in test comprising Written Test and Computer Proficiency Test conducted on the same day at the specified centre.
- Selection purely for training, not linked to regular appointment.
- Rank list valid for 2 years from publishing date.
General Instructions
- Selection is exclusively for SC/ST candidates.
- Candidates who have undergone prior training with Spices Board are not eligible.
- No TA/DA will be paid to candidates attending the walk-in test.
- Board reserves the right to modify, cancel, or alter the selection process without prior notice.
- Candidates must bring original certificates and one set of self-attested copies.
- Required documents: Passport size photograph, Identity proof, Proof of age, Caste certificate, Educational qualification certificates.
- Report at centre on 03-02-2026, 11:00 AM as per instructions in official notification.
How to Apply
- Walk-in test will be conducted at centres specified in Annexure-I of the official notification.
- Eligible candidates should fill and sign the application form (Annexure-II) of the notice.
- Bring all required documents as mentioned above to the test centre.
- Attend the walk-in test on 03-02-2026 at 11:00 AM sharp.
