Job Description
Assistant Librarians will manage legal resources, archives, and digital libraries for the High Court. They will support judicial officers and researchers with legal references, documentation, and research analysis.
- Maintain and update legal books, journals, reports, and e-resources in the library
- Assist judges, law officers, and researchers with legal references and case law queries
- Organize library records, databases, and digital repositories for efficient access
- Prepare bibliographies, summaries, and reference guides for legal research
- Ensure proper cataloging, shelving, and preservation of library material
- Coordinate with publishers, vendors, and other libraries for acquiring new resources
Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualification: LLB, B.Lib, M.Lib from a recognized university
- Experience: Prior library management experience preferred but freshers can apply
- Age Limit: Maximum 35 years; relaxation applicable as per government rules

Salary / Pay Scale
