Eligibility Criteria
- MBBS degree from a recognized university with one-year compulsory rotatory internship.
- Registration with State Medical Council or Medical Council of India–New Delhi is mandatory.
- One House Job (6 months) or minimum 6 months post-qualification experience required.
- Medical Officer-STCS (NTEP): Prefer MD in Pulmonary Medicine/Internal Medicine/TB & Chest Disease/Community Medicine/MPH, one year experience in NTEP, basic computer & Nikshay knowledge.
- Medical Officer-MCH: Prefer experience in Gynae & Obs/Paediatrics.
- CCC+ Course on Computer Concepts Plus (120 hours) as preferential qualification.
- Existing NHM Chandigarh contract Medical Officers can also apply.
- SC/OBC candidates must provide valid caste certificate as per Chandigarh Administration guidelines.
Salary / Stipend
- All posts: Rs. 72,072/- per month (consolidated).
- Contractual appointment initially up to 31.03.2027, extendable based on performance, conduct, and project duration.
Age Limit
Up to 60 years as on 15-01-2026 for all posts. Ensure eligibility compliance.
Selection Process
- Walk-in interview on 15-01-2026 at Office of Mission Director, NHM, 4th Floor, Administrative Block, Govt. Multi-Speciality Hospital, Sector-16, Chandigarh.
- Registration strictly from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM. Late arrivals will not be registered.
- Candidates must bring bio-data in prescribed format, self-attested certificates from Matriculation onwards, and a recent passport-size photograph attested by a Gazetted Officer.
- Original certificates required for verification at the time of interview.
- The Mission Director reserves the right to increase/decrease posts or cancel walk-in without reason.
