Educational Qualification & Eligibility
Candidates must fulfill one of the following eligibility conditions:

For M.Tech / M.E / MS Candidates:
First Class (minimum 65% marks or 7.0 CPI) in M.Tech/M.E/MS with valid GATE or NET qualification and First Class (minimum 60% marks or 6.5 CPI) in B.Tech/B.E, Class 12th and Class 10th. -
For B.Tech / B.E / M.Sc Candidates:
Minimum 75% marks or 8.0 CPI from non-IIT institutes OR minimum 7.0 CPI from IITs/IISc with valid GATE score and First Class in 10th and 12th. - Experience: Minimum 2 years experience as Junior Research Fellow (JRF) is mandatory.
- Preferred Disciplines: Metallurgy, Ceramic Engineering, Polymer/Plastic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Technology, Nanotechnology, Materials Science, Physics, Chemistry, Foundry & Forge, Production Engineering and related fields.
Desirable Skills
- Experience in ceramic/metal composites and nanocomposites
- Knowledge of composite fabrication techniques
- Microstructure and phase analysis experience
- Mechanical and tribological characterization skills
- Environmental engineering research exposure
Salary Structure
Selected candidates will receive the following consolidated monthly fellowship:
- Basic Fellowship: ₹42,000/-
- House Rent Allowance (9%): ₹3,780/-
- Total Monthly Salary: ₹45,780/-
Age Limit (as on Application Date)
- BE/B.Tech/M.Sc candidates: Maximum 28 years
- ME/M.Tech/MS candidates: Maximum 32 years
- Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/Women/PwBD candidates as per Government of India norms
