IIT Delhi Apprentices Recruitment 2026 – Overview
Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi has released an official notification for engagement of Apprentices under the Apprentices Act, 1961.
Selected candidates will undergo apprenticeship training for a period of 12 months with a fixed monthly stipend.

Eligibility Criteria
- Administration / Accounts / IIT Hospital: Graduate in Arts, Commerce, Science, Secretarial Practice, Modern Office Management, Pharmacy, Physiotherapy.
- Estate & Works: Graduate / Diploma in Engineering or Technology.
- Hostels / Guest Houses: Graduate / Diploma in Hotel Management & Catering Technology.
- Gap between qualification passing date and last date of application should not exceed 2 years.
- Applicants already undergoing or completed apprenticeship are not eligible.
- Mandatory registration on NATS 2.0 Portal.
Stipend Details
- Degree Holders: ₹15,000/- per month
- Diploma Holders: ₹12,000/- per month
- No additional allowance will be paid
Age Limit
- Minimum Age: 18 Years
- Maximum Age: 25 Years
- Age relaxation applicable as per Government of India rules
Selection Process
- Merit-based selection on percentage of marks in qualifying examination
- In case of tie, older candidate will be preferred
- Final decision by competent authority
- Document verification mandatory
