The 2 Associate Manager positions have distinct focus areas:

Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualification: B.Com with CA / ICWA Inter from a recognized institute
- Experience: Minimum 7 years in finance, accounts, compliance, statutory roles. Prior experience in higher education, government, PSU, or autonomous institutions preferred.
- Nationality: Must be Indian
Key Roles & Responsibilities
The Associate Manager will handle finance & accounts, taxation, and compliance across IIMB’s operations. Detailed responsibilities include:
- Preparation and timely filing of all applicable Direct Tax returns (Forms 10, 10B, 10AB, 10BD, 15CA / 15CB, Income Tax Return, e-TDS returns)
- Prepare, review, and ensure timely filing of all GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9)
- Maintain accurate records of all GST and tax-related transactions
- Respond to notices from tax authorities and ensure statutory compliance
- Automate tax processes to improve efficiency and risk management
- Manage UG campus financial operations, including cash flow, reconciliations, ledger accuracy, budget, MIS, and compliance
- Verify, check, and process RA bills for construction projects
- Handle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
- General Ledger controlling and reconciliations
- Budget compilation, variance analysis, and preparation of MIS reports
- Support finalization of accounts and audits (including CAG audits)
- Support ERP implementation and payroll functions
- Other tasks as assigned by the department/institute
Skills and Abilities Required
- Strong knowledge of GST and Income Tax compliance
- Up-to-date with regulatory changes and policy updates
- Analytical skills for audit and compliance
- Problem-solving with attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
- Experience in ERP systems, preferably Oracle Fusion/PeopleSoft, and advanced Excel skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to supervise, mentor, and train junior staff
- Knowledge of public procurement policies, GFR, GeM, etc.
- Collaboration and stakeholder management skills
