Eligibility Criteria
Eligibility for each position varies based on the educational qualification and work experience required. Candidates must meet the criteria specified for the respective post categories. Preference is typically given to Ex-Servicemen or dependents when applicable.
- OIC (Officer-in-Charge): Retired service officers from Indian Army, Navy or Air Force with pension benefits.
- Medical Specialist / Gynaecologist: MD/MS or DNB with minimum 3 years post-PG experience.
- Medical Officer: MBBS with minimum 3 years experience after internship.
- Dental Officer: BDS with minimum 3 years work experience.
- Dental Assistant / Technician: Diploma in dental hygiene or class-I DH course with 5 years experience.
- Lab Technician: B.Sc Medical Lab Technology or 10+2 with DMLT plus 3 years experience.
- Lab Assistant: DMLT or equivalent with 5 years experience.
- Pharmacist: B.Pharm or 10+2 with Diploma in Pharmacy plus 3 years experience.
- Nursing Assistant / Physiotherapist: GNM or physiotherapy diploma with relevant experience.
- IT Network Technician: Diploma / Certificate in IT with minimum 2 years experience.
- Clerk / DEO / Receptionist: Graduate with 5 years experience or class-I clerical trade background.
- Driver / Chowkidar / Peon / Female Attendant / Safaiwala: 8th pass or literate with varying years of work experience.
Age Limit
The age limit varies from post to post. For most medical and specialist roles, candidates should preferably be within the upper age bracket specified in the official notification, with relaxation provided for Ex-Servicemen and other reserved categories according to government norms.
Salary / Pay Scale
ECHS offers salary on a contractual basis according to the nature of the job and qualifications:
- Medical Specialist / Gynaecologist: ₹1,30,000/- per month
- Medical Officer: ₹95,000/- per month
- Dental Officer: ₹95,000/- per month
- OIC: ₹95,000/- per month
- Pharmacist / Lab Tech / Nursing Assistant / IT Technician: ₹36,500/- per month
- Driver: ₹25,600/- per month
- Receptionist: ₹21,800/- per month
- Chowkidar / Peon / Female Attendant / Safaiwala: ₹21,800/- per month
Selection Process
Selection for all posts under ECHS 175 recruitment is conducted through an interview. Candidates must bring original documents, mark sheets, work experience certificates, discharge book, PPO, service records and passport size photographs to the interview venue. No TA/DA is admissible for interview attendance.
