The Defence Materials and Stores Research and Development Establishment (DMSRDE), a premier laboratory of Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), has released an official notification for recruitment of Research Associateship (RA) and Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) posts. A total of 03 vacancies are available. Eligible candidates can directly attend the Walk-In Interview on 11 February 2026 at DMSRDE, Kanpur.

Eligibility Criteria – Detailed Explanation
For Research Associateship (RA):
- Ph.D. or equivalent degree in relevant discipline from a recognized university.
- Candidates who have submitted their Ph.D. thesis may also attend the interview, but the RA position will be awarded only after submission of degree or provisional certificate.
For Junior Research Fellowship (JRF):
- Post Graduate degree in basic sciences in first division with NET qualification, OR
- B.E./B.Tech. degree in relevant discipline in first division with NET/GATE, OR
- M.E./M.Tech. degree in relevant discipline in first division at both Graduate and Postgraduate levels.
Age Limit & Relaxation
- Junior Research Fellowship: Maximum 28 years
- Research Associateship: Maximum 35 years
- Age relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer)
Salary / Fellowship Details
- Research Associate: ₹67,000 per month
- Junior Research Fellow: ₹37,000 per month (1st & 2nd year)
- Contingency Grant: ₹15,000 per annum for JRF and ₹20,000 per annum for RA (reimbursement basis)

- Carry one recent passport size photograph.
