Eligibility Criteria – Kangra Multi Task Worker 2026
- Normal/neighboring resident of Gram Panchayat/Urban Local Bodies within the jurisdiction of concerned Veterinary Institution.
- Bonafide resident of Himachal Pradesh.
- Able-bodied, physically fit, and mentally sound.
- Good character and conduct.
- Essential Qualification: Matric (10th) from any School/Institution in Himachal Pradesh. Condition of passing 10th from HP School is not applicable to Bonafide Himachalis.
- Desirable Qualification: Knowledge of Animal Husbandry activities, local customs, manners, and dialects of Himachal Pradesh.
Salary / Honorarium
Selected candidates will receive ₹5,000/- per month on an honorarium basis for part-time work (04 hours/day). The engagement is purely temporary and does not guarantee regular employment.
Age Limit
Candidates must be between 18 and 45 years as on 05 February 2026.

Selection Process
The selection process for Multi Task Worker (Pashu Mitra) includes Stage-I: Physical Test and Stage-II: Merit List & Counselling.
- Stage-I – Physical Test: Candidate must carry 25 Kg weight up to 100 meters within one minute. Schedule, venue, and timing will be published on the departmental website.
- Stage-II – Merit List & Counselling: The Pashu Mitra Engagement Committee (PMEC) will prepare a panel of 5 candidates on merit basis for each institution. Document verification of original certificates will be done at the time of counselling.

How to Apply – Animal Husbandry Kangra 2026
Candidates must apply using Annexure-A form on A4 size paper. Fill in your details in blue/black ink and attach self-attested photocopies of required documents. Submit the application along with two self-addressed envelopes to the office of the Senior Veterinary Officer of the respective Sub Divisional Veterinary Hospital before 05 February 2026, 4:00 PM.
