Verb (क्रिया) is a word that tells us about an action, state, or occurrence. Verbs are the most important part of a sentence because without them, sentences cannot be complete.

👉 Example: She sings beautifully. (Here, sings is the verb)

📘 Types of Verbs

1. Action Verbs (क्रियात्मक क्रिया)

These verbs show physical or mental actions.

  • He runs fast.
  • She writes a story.
  • I think about the problem.

2. Linking Verbs (संयोजक क्रिया)

These verbs connect the subject with information about the subject.

3. Helping Verbs (सहायक क्रिया)

These verbs help the main verb to show tense, mood, or voice.

4. Transitive Verbs (सकर्मक क्रिया)

These verbs require an object to complete their meaning.

5. Intransitive Verbs (अकर्मक क्रिया)

These verbs do not require an object.

6. Regular Verbs

7. Irregular Verbs

8. Modal Verbs
