Eligibility Criteria
- Research Assistant: Postgraduate in Social Sciences with minimum 55% marks + NET/M.Phil/Ph.D.
- Field Investigator: Postgraduate in Social Sciences with minimum 55% marks.
- Desirable Qualifications: Proficiency in Odia, Hindi & English; Knowledge of MS Office, SPSS, STATA, NVivo/MAXQDA.
- Experience: Prior field/research/ethnographic experience with tribal communities or related research area will be preferred.
- Age Limit: As per the rules mentioned in the official notification (not explicitly mentioned, follow website guidance).
Salary / Stipend
- Research Assistant: Rs. 37,000/- per month
- Field Investigator: Rs. 20,000/- per month

General Information / Instructions

- Field Investigators to be stationed at Maa Manikeshwari University, Bhawanipatna, Kalahandi District, Odisha for 6 months; must visit NIT Hamirpur every 2 months to submit progress report.
- Selected candidates must join within one week of appointment letter; failure will lead to cancellation.
