UPSC Anthropologist Recruitment 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

Candidates must have Master’s Degree in Anthropology from a recognized university. For Cultural Anthropology post, more than 50% papers should be in Cultural Anthropology. For Physical Anthropology post, more than 50% papers should be in Physical/Biological Anthropology.

Experience Required

Minimum 3 years research experience in Anthropology is mandatory for both posts.

• Physical Anthropology: Maximum 35 Years (UR)
