Eligibility Criteria – Detailed Explanation
For GDMO (General Duty Medical Officer)
- Educational Qualification: MBBS degree from a recognised university
- Internship: Completion of one year rotating internship is mandatory
- Registration: Valid registration certificate from State Medical Council or Medical Council of India / National Medical Commission
For Specialist Doctors
- Educational Qualification: MBBS degree from a recognised university
- Postgraduate Qualification: PG Degree or Diploma in relevant specialty recognised by MCI / NMC
- Registration: Valid registration certificate from State Medical Council or Medical Council of India / National Medical Commission
- Experience: Preference will be given to candidates having relevant post-qualification experience

Tenure and Engagement Conditions

Salary and Remuneration
Remuneration will be paid as per Indian Railways and CLW norms applicable to Contract Medical Practitioners and Specialists.
