Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualification: Degree of recognized University or equivalent (varies for IMA, INA, AFA, OTA).
- Nationality: Citizen of India or Subject of Nepal or Person of Indian origin migrated from Pakistan/Burma/Sri Lanka/East Africa/Vietnam with intention of permanent settlement.
- Candidates in final year/semester may also apply.
Salary / Stipend
- During Training: Rs. 56,100/- per month.
- After Commissioning: Level 10 onwards as per post, plus Military Service Pay, Dearness Allowance, Transport Allowance, Children Education Allowance, Dress Allowance, Free Ration.
Age Limit (as on 01-01-2027)
- Varies by course: 19 to 24 years approximately. Relaxation for certain categories/qualifications.

Selection Process
- Stage 1: Written Exam (Objective Type, varies by course)
- Stage 2: SSB Interview (Intelligence, Personality, GTO, PP&DT, Psychology tests)
- Stage 3: Medical Examination at Armed Forces Medical Services Hospitals
- Negative marking: 0.33 marks per wrong answer
