Vacancy Details
There is 01 vacancy for the post of Research Associate, engaged on a temporary contractual basis (period as per notification).
Eligibility Criteria
- Essential: Doctoral Degree / Ph.D. in Agri. Economics or Agri. Statistics or Agri. Extension.
- OR Master’s degree in Agri. Economics / Agri. Statistics / Agri. Extension with:
- 4/5 years Bachelor's degree with First Division or equivalent OGPA,
- At least 3 years of teaching/research experience (Fellowship/Associateship/Training/Other engagements),
- At least one research paper published in SCI / NAAS rated (≥4.0) journal.
- Candidates with PG in Basic Sciences (3+2 pattern) must have NET qualification.
- Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC etc. as per government rules (wherever applicable).
Age Limit
- Not exceeding 40 years for men.
- Not exceeding 45 years for women.
Salary / Remuneration
- M.Sc.(Ag.) / Master’s degree holders: Rs. 61,000/- per month + HRA (as applicable).
- Ph.D. holders: Rs. 67,000/- per month + HRA (as applicable).
- HRA will be paid as per prevailing State Govt. rates.

How to Apply (Walk-in Interview)
- Eligible candidates should attend the Walk-in Interview on 12-12-2025 at 10:30 AM with two sets of photocopies and originals.
- Bring Bio-data, two sets of Xerox copies of educational & experience certificates, research publications, identity proof (Aadhaar/PAN), and passport size photographs.
- Applications may also be submitted on plain paper with bio-data, names & addresses of two referees and attested photocopies of supporting documents at the time of interview.
- No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview. Selected candidates must undergo medical examination at their own expense before joining.
Selection Process
- Shortlisting based on credentials and eligibility.
- Interview by the Selection Committee.
- Decision of the Selection Committee shall be final and binding.
- Engagement is temporary; no claim for regular appointment.
