Eligibility Criteria
- Level-5 / Level-4: Graduation in any discipline or equivalent from a recognised University. (For some Level-4 posts: pass in 1st year B.Sc. Physics or 12th with Science may be required as specified.)
- Level-3 / Level-2: 12th (+2 stage) or equivalent for non-technical posts; or Matriculation plus NCVT/SCVT approved ITI/Act Apprenticeship as specified (Diploma in Engineering not accepted as alternative).
- Level-1: Passed 10th or equivalent from a recognised institution. (Skilled artisan appointees may undergo three years training.)
Age Limit (as on 01-01-2026)
- Minimum Age: 18 years
- Maximum Age: 25 years
- Born between: 02.01.2001 to 01.01.2008 (both days inclusive)
- No age relaxation is applicable.
Application Fee
- Examination fee for all candidates: ₹500 (₹400 refundable to those who actually appear in the trials).
- For SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen/Women/Minorities/EBCs: ₹250 (refundable to those who appear in the trials).
Selection Process
The recruitment is based on performance in trials, assessment of sports achievements and educational qualifications. Only candidates found FIT in trials will be considered further.
- All eligible candidates will be called for trials (dates & venues to be notified on the RRC website).
- Trials may be held at Hubballi / Bengaluru / Mysuru or other notified locations; candidates should be prepared to attend at short notice.
- Original documents (educational, age proof, sports achievement certificates, caste, etc.) must be produced during document verification and trials.
- Candidates recommended for appointment will undergo medical examination — only those medically FIT (BEE-ONE/B-1 and above) will be appointed.
